‘Faking It’ season 2 filming wraps; still waiting on return date

Faking It -At the moment, MTV seems to have no problem making you wait. “Faking It” season 2A finished airing in the fall, and still, there is no word on when it will return with the second half. Maybe the network is plotting a move to summer? Last year, the show premiered in the spring, but this is a network who may be interested in trying out a few new things with “Awkward” coming to a close.

We know from last week’s tweets (see one from Yvette Monreal below) that season 2 finished filming at the end of February, and now, what is left for producers to do is get into the editing room and make sure these episodes are perfect before MTV puts them on the air.

In general terms, we imagine that one of the big storylines for the second half of the season will be Karma trying to understand what sort of feelings she really has for Amy, given that she understands and sees her friendship with her with open eyes. There are fewer secrets between the two, and having to see Amy with someone else could awaken her to more feelings. Then again, it could also push her further apart if things start to go in a positive direction for her and Liam.

Apart from the story, one other notable today is that the show has been nominated for a Best TV Show Shorty Award! For more on the honor, head over to the group’s official website. It is an eclectic mix of competitors, including “Supernatural,” “Orphan Black,” “Pretty Little Liars,” and the short-lived but excellent ABC competition series “The Quest.”
