‘Orphan Black’ season 3 spoilers: On ‘deepening’ story, big mysteries at the end

In just a little over a month’s time, we are going to have a chance to really see the story unfold once again on “Orphan Black.” This is a show that unfolded in crazy fashion at the end of last season with the reveal of all of the different Ari Millen clones, and that is something that will most likely play a huge part in the story now.

While we are still too far out to necessarily receive a whole lot of specifics about the third season, executive producer John Fawcett was still kind enough to describe the road ahead in the following terms to Entertainment Weekly:

“Season 3 is deepening the mystery. Certainly it’s solving big clues to outstanding mysteries. We get a lot of answers this season. But the show goes in a very different direction than it has previously, and by the end of season 3 we end in a place that we’re all really excited about. We have a very, very big ending to this season, so we’re excited about that. A lot of answers. And a lot of new questions.”

For those curious, Fawcett also added that while there are new clones this season, the goal is to not lighten the load whatsoever on the ones played by Tatiana Maslany. The show is really committed above all else to keeping the original group at the center of the series at all costs, and to tell much of the story still through the eyes of Sarah.
