‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 14 reaction: Did Amelia or Arizona save Dr. Herman?

The future -Going into tonight’s “Grey’s Anatomy” episode, we were very much curious to see how the story was going to end for Dr. Herman … or if it was going to end at all. After all, this was a character who had already gone through quite the wringer, and this surgery from Amelia was one of the few hopes in which she had to ultimately survive.

In the end, did she? It took a whole lot of work, but by the end of the episode, Dr. Herman was alive! However, there was a twist: She had lost her vision. This is a pretty bad consequence of the surgery, but at the end of the day, the right move was made to actually save her life. Is this going to put this particular storyline to bed? While we would not say that just yet, it does at least cause us to take a step back and breathe a little. We will get a chance to see some other things unfold now over the course of the comings week.s

Aside from Dr. Herman, we imagine that there were a few moments in here that you also probably appreciated, provided of course that you are a fan of the Callie and Arizona characters. While these two are not together by any means, they’ve made some more moves that give us a little bit of hope that they will manage to at least get on better terms.

Now, the crazy thing here is that there is still well more of a third of this season to go.
