Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber: Hannibal Burruss, Shaquille O’Neal, Martha Stewart added
We now know the full roster of roasters who are appearing on the upcoming Comedy Central Roast designed to skewer Justin Bieber, and we have to say here that overall, this is definitely a strange, eclectic bunch of individuals. Yet, this is precisely what we like to see on the show.
Let’s start from the comedian perspective. Joining the previously-announced Jeff Ross on the dais will by “Undateable” star Chris D’Elia, Hannibal Burruss (one of the best working today, and strangely the man who sparked much of the Bill Cosby controversy as of late with a comedy set), and returning roaster Natasha Leggero. This is a good comedy lineup. All of them have a reputation for being very funny, and they are all basically at the top of their comedy game. Still, somewhat bummed about the lack of Anythony Jeselnik the past few years.
As for the celebrity lineup, the roster consists of Bieber’s “Baby” collaborator Ludacris, basketball icon Shaquille O’Neal (who really seems perfect for a roast himself when you think about it), and rapper Snoop Dogg, who was previously on the dais for the Roast of Donald Trump. Strangely, they will be joined by Martha Stewart. We still have zero clue what she’s doing there, but we kind of love that there is someone random being added to the mix.
The full roast is going to air on Comedy Central March 30 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, which is unfortunately still a little ways away. Have no fear, though: We’re going to have some further updates when it comes to the special as they come out.
