‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ video: Kim Richards, Lisa Rinna’s epic meltdown

What is somewhat funny about Lisa Rinna joining “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is that when she was first cast on the show, we thought she was going to bring a little more peace and a little less insanity to the proceedings. Well, we thought wrong!

Instead, she was front and center in Amsterdam Tuesday night, taking part in what has to be one of the most-volatile confrontations we have ever seen on the show. Things seemed to start to go downhill when Lisa was accused by Kim Richards (pictured) of doing (what else?) the crime of talking about her behind her back. Lisa was of course not happy about the situation, and the back and forth and yelling began. Kim’s already had a hard time this season, courtesy of some erratic behavior and some issues with her own sister Kyle.

Things truly started to go nuclear here when Kim claimed to Lisa that she had some dirt on her husband Harry Hamlin, and had no problem starting to air out that dirty laundry. Rinna then went ballistic, smashing a glass, lunging at her, and claiming that she had zero business saying anything bad about her husband. (Ultimately, we’re sure Harry doesn’t want to get involved in any of this drama, either; he is currently experiencing a little bit of a career comeback following “Mad Men,” and this is not always the best promotional venue for an actor.)

Obviously, we expect that this is far from the end of the drama between these two characters, and we could see this continue more and more over the coming weeks.
