‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 23 preview: Alison’s trial begins; who can save Hanna?

Ready to see what lies ahead on “Pretty Little Liars“? Well, next week’s installment “The Melody Lingers On” may be one of the most important episodes that you’ve seen on the series so far. After all, it marks the beginning of the trial for Alison, and a chance to figure out whether or not Hanna herself can be freed after everything that happened to her on tonight’s crazy episode.

“Alison’s trial is about to begin and the once-confident Queen Bee is not so confident about her fate, as testimony reveals not only her lies but the lies of those close to her. Meanwhile, Spencer, Aria, Emily and Caleb search for information to clear the imprisoned Hanna following a string of clues that might have been left by Mona or possibly planted by “A.””

Maybe by the time this episode ends, Ashley Benson’s character will be freed … but that is not confirmed. There is still some time left this season beyond this installment, so that may be a chance to actually give this story a little bit more meat for some time.
