‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 22 review: Was Ashley Benson’s Hanna arrested, and why?
On Tuesday night’s “Pretty Little Liars” episode, There were surprises aplenty. One of the biggest ones was that the show did not wait until the very end of the episode to show something crazy that happened to the Hanna character.
Specifically, what unfolded with her was rather simple: She was arrested after there was her blood found on clothes Mona was wearing the day of her death. That is enough evidence to ensure that she was put in handcuffs, at least as an accomplice if not anything else. Hanna thought that she was going to be okay, mostly because she finally determined that she was going to go to the police with evidence that “A” was destroying her life. However, she soon found that these messages were gone, and she had no evidence at all of what happened.
While all of this was happening, Spencer was in London, realizing that her entire placement in the city was a ruse designed by her parents to keep her safe. So much for that “trust” between her and Melissa.
Also, Aria and Ezra are seemingly no more … but you probably saw that coming. After all, remember here that she had already kissed Andrew, and she realized that she had missed out on part of high school to be with him. These are things that she’s thought about … and we’re pretty sad about that. With that being said, we’re still hopeful for the future!
Ultimately, Ali decided to not take the plea at the end of the episode, which means that there is a better chance for Hanna. However, nothing is sound, and we are set up for the next episode in a very big way. Grade: B.
