Is the revolving door at “Fashion Police” going to close off sooner rather than later? There are at least some reports right now suggesting that this is possible.
Following the somewhat-surprising exit by Kelly Osbourne last week following a public fiasco involving show star Giuliana Rancic and Zendaya, People Magazine is reporting that Khloe Kardashian is very much interested in joining Kathy Griffin and company on the series. This news really should not shock anyone out there. Khloe was a part of the E! coverage for the Academy Awards, which suggests to us that they always considered bringing her in for more fashion insight. She already has done quite a bit of work in the field, and the Kardashians practically own the network at this point.
There are still two major strikes against the idea of Khloe as a host here, starting with the fact that the Kardashians may be one of the most-hated families in all of TV. Nobody beyond their devoted fans seems to be interested in anything that they do, and yet, we all get sucked into writing more about them. Even here, we are reporting about them mostly because it is in the context of another show.
Also, we cannot say that we were particularly impressed in Khloe’s work when she was a co-host on the American “X Factor.” Granted, that was a live environment, and she was also standing at the center of the stage and introducing singers. “Fashion Police” is a little more free-form, and it is meant to be a little more based on humor.
One thing that would be great TV if this happens? Kathy has wasted no time on many occasions mocking Khloe’s famous sister Kim.
