‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 17 preview: A shocking drive-by attack

Chicago Fire -We’ve known “Chicago Fire” (and virtually every other show executive-produced by Dick Wolf, for that matter) for having a variety of intense, shocking scenes, but never anything quite like what we are going to have on Tuesday night’s all-new episode.

If you want some other insight into what we’re talking about here, the sneak peek below gives you a good idea. You have a number of people sprawled out on the sidewalk after seemingly being run over, which is one of the most disturbing things you can possibly imagine. Is there a specific reason for this? While it may not seem like it at first, one is quickly revealed soon enough.

This attach is of course going to spring the firehouse and the paramedics into action, doing what they can to help these people in a tiny amount of time. The fact that the attack is still ongoing impacts things to a great degree, and the team could certainly use a little bit of help from the Chicago PD if they are around in order to deal with this.

If there is one thing that we know about this show, it is that they tend to dwell on these sort of stories longer than just an isolated moment or two. Therefore, you are probably going to see much more of this throughout the hour, including an investigation to really get to the bottom of it … and also ensure that similar incidents do not happen again (at least to the greatest extent that firefighters and paramedics can).

If you missed it, head over here to watch another preview from Tuesday’s episode that is more about Casey, and his current struggles at the moment with the new Chief Pridgen.
