‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 spoilers: Hard times ahead for Jesse Spencer’s Casey

Chicago Fire -Ever since this past episode of “Chicago Fire” ended, one thing was pretty clear: Casey was in a bad way. Pridgen clearly already has a vendetta against Jesse Spencer’s character just for his behavior around his wife; however, he does not know the full truth about what happened, and when he does, the new Chief could be on the warpath.

According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, the existence of this secret could end up putting the entire firehouse in jeopardy. Does Pridgen go too far? That’s certainly possible, since it is already somewhat clear that he is allowing his hatred to completely overshadow at times any hope of doing something rational.

The one thing that you really should be hoping for above all else at the moment is simply that Chief Boden arrives back at the firehouse sooner rather than later. With that being said, there’s no guarantee that Pridgen will leave even when he does end his mourning period. This is a problem that could theoretically continue for most of the entire season, even though we do not imagine that it will. More than likely, we’ll get a resolution before we get to that point.

“Chicago Fire” also has many other exciting stories that it needs to get to beyond what is happening with Casey and Pridgen, and you should take note of those. One of them, of course, is going to be the much-hyped spin-off pilot for “Chicago Med.” Many of the roles there have already been cast, and are at this point now we are just waiting for even more details.
