‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 spoilers: Prepare for a big Herrmann story

Chicago Fire -We always like it when ensemble shows cast a light on a variety of different characters, and it seems like Hermann in particular someone we want to see more of “Chicago Fire” season 3. Most of the first half of this season was themed around the Molly’s story and the food truck, so we wanted to get a chance to see him do something a little different.

Well, it appears as though David Eigenberg’s character is going to be front and center for an episode episode coming up entitled “Forgiving, Relentless, Unconditional” that is airing on Tuesday, March 17. The official synopsis gives you an even better sense of just what you can expect for the rest of the story:

“During a harrowing call to a structure fire, Herrmann (David Eigenberg) rescues a trapped toddler, but the questionable circumstances surrounding the event sends him on a personal mission to locate the father and get to the bottom of the situation. Severide (Taylor Kinney) makes up for lost time by retracing key friendships from his adolescence, while Mills (Charlie Barnett) discovers some surprising news. Elsewhere, Cruz (Joe Minoso) and Brett’s (Kara Killmer) relationship comes to a crucial juncture, while Otis (Yuri Sardarov) develops some unexpected feelings.”

For the Severide story, we wonder if how much of this is going to be the result of the appearance of Warren Christie, who is going to be coming on the show for an arc that could eventually translate to much more. He is going to have some sort of major connection to the past of this character.
