‘The Flash’ episode 17 spoilers: The Weather Wizard arrives; is Joe in danger?
Remember when the Weather Wizard was a big deal on “The Flash“? While we’re not sure we are supposed to call him that name, we had a very similar character appear back in the show’s pilot. In a way, he was the original Barry Allen adversary, and our hero has to face with a new version who will actually be bearing this name. Not only that, but this one will be played by “Spartacus” star Liam McIntyre.
So how will the wizard cast his spell? We’ve got some of the first details below on the upcoming “Out of Time,” and maybe it will give you at least a few juicy tidbits to digest. The synopsis below lays out everything from Joe West in danger to the return of Linda Park and as teased in promos, Cisco realizing that Harrison Wells is so much more than he originally thought:
“Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde’s death, and sets his sights on Joe (Jesse L. Martin), who shot Clyde. When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry (Grant Gustin), Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away. Barry warns Joe not to go after a meta-human alone but Joe doesn’t listen and ends up in grave danger. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn’t add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Barry and Linda (guest star Malese Jow) end up on an awkward double date with Eddie (Rick Cosnett) and Iris (Candice Patton).”
What Cisco has to figure out at this point is rather simple: Is he going to be able to figure out how to handle this news even if he has it? He cannot just challenge Wells right away. This may include a plan, and ensuring he has some others on his side.
