‘Suits’ season 4, episode 15 preview: A bonding moment for Donna, Louis Litt

Briefly on last week’s episode of “Suits” season 4, it appeared as though Donna very briefly had figured out to save the day. Unfortunately, it turned out that Evan Smith was just one move ahead, and planned on taking her evidence right to the District Attorney. We’ve already seen other characters deal with the looming threat of jail time, but now, it is about to fall right at her doorstep.

On Wednesday night’s “Intent,” we are going to have the opportunity to see just what happens, and if Harvey, Mike, and Louis (who seems to be less insanely intense now than he was early in the season) can find a way to protect her. The attached image here is especially sweet, since it shows that the friendship is back fully in order. This was a highlight of season 4A; Sarah Rafferty and Nick Hoffman have such a friendly chemistry, and they both share a sort of underdog status at the firm.

We’d like to say that Wednesday’s episode will resolve this story, but it is hard to say that with confidence. There is still an episode after this one, and these are the sort of stakes that work very well for a season finale. After March 4, we are unfortunately looking at over three months without “Suits.” It could even be four, depending on how USA wants to schedule the rest of the season.
