ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: The Natalie mystery continues

Who exactly is Natalie on “Revenge” season 4? This is a question that still does not have a complete answer to it. She is played by Gina Torres, and what we do at least know about her right now is that she presents a pretty formidable challenge to Victoria Grayson. The question is why, since it does not really seem that she has a major connection to her that spans a considerable length of time.

Maybe there will be some answers in “Retaliation,” which is the upcoming 16th episode of the season airing on Sunday, March 15. ABC has released the official synopsis now from this hour, and it at least gives you some additional insight into what you can expect:

“Determined to flaunt her new fortune in Victoria’s face, Natalie throws a giant Fourth of July bash and invites David to be her date. Meanwhile, Margaux steps up her plans to take down anyone who stands in her way.”

By the end of this episode, we are hopefully going to see Margaux embrace more of her role as potential villain here, and that excites us greatly. We wanted to see Katrina become more of a potential foe early on during “Sleepy Hollow” season 2, and this is a chance for “Revenge” to show you what that show should’ve done when it comes to an oft-derided character. There is potential for Margaux to be a brilliant character with the right motivation to burn the Hamptons to the ground (metaphorically anyway), but we’ll have to see what unfolds.
