‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 17 preview: Brandon and Jesus fight … but why?

You have probably seen previews for Monday night’s new episode of “The Fosters” already that show Brandon and Jesus fighting with each other, and thanks to the latest sneak peek from ABC Family, you now also have a little bit more insight into just what it is about.

On the surface, it appears like this is an argument centered around whether or not one of them is willing to move from the fridge, and some other general fighting that we see from teenage boys all of the time. It feels rather petty, and makes us want to roll our eyes that it is this that they would decide to get so upset about.

With that being said, though, there almost always tends to be something deeper underneath these sort of arguments. In this case, we wonder if much of the tension really stems from how Jesus is feeling about Brandon going out on tour. More often than not, there is always something unspoken at the center of these arguments, and that will be rather interesting to explore as we progress even further into this episode.

Will we have all of our answers about these two during this episode? It’s probably happening sooner rather than later, if it is not a part of this particular episode. We cannot see this being the sort of plotline that the writers would want to dangle for too long, mostly because it seems like a resolution could come just from them talking this out.
