‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 21 video: Spencer has chance to leave Rosewood behind

Tuesday night’s “Pretty Little Liars” episode could be a turning point for the Spencer character, at least when it comes to one key subject: Whether or not she is going to be forced to spend the rest of her life around Rosewood, dealing with “A” and all of the other drama associated with him or her. While we know this person to be powerful and manipulative, they are not the Reverse Flash; they cannot be in a variety of different places all at the same time.

In the new sneak peek below from this upcoming episode, Troian Bellisario’s character is handed an opportunity by her mother to go to London for a meeting with a professor at Oxford. (Hey, there’s a Wren shout-out in here, as well! Apparently, he helped to set up the interview.) This is an opportunity for her to really get away and get a proper education, at least if she can focus enough on it.

There are still some other issues that Spencer has to deal with away from London, though, and that is going to include her getting a tongue-lashing about the time she spent visiting Alison. We know that she may have had specific intentions for seeing her, but we really cannot blame her mom for freaking out on her here. Would you want your daughter seeing someone in jail who is at least suspected of being a murderer? That is enough of a reason to steer clear, at least to the point where you don’t quite need further information.
