‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Britt Nilsson, Kaitlyn Bristowe among reported ‘frontrunners’

“Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss claims that there is going to be a decision made on the next “Bachelorette” sooner rather than later. If that turns out to be true, are we going to be able to figure out who it is in advance? We feel like we can read the tea leaves to a certain extent here and figure it out.

Just one week ago, we thought that Britt Nilsson didn’t have that great of a shot at this. However, matters have changed following some pretty positive exit comments from Chris Harrison, an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and a new report from E! News claiming that she is one of the four “frontrunners” for the gig alongside Jade Roper, Kaitlyn Bristowe, and Becca Tilley. We don’t really think that it is too much trouble ruling out both Jade and Becca from contention here. When it comes to Jade, we feel like there will probably be so much made of her past that it becomes a distraction, and the show has a pretty conservative following. Meanwhile, Becca is probably a little too low-key, and the virgin story may ruin the drama of the fantasy suites. (Of course, everything depends on who is chosen in the end.)

This leaves us with Kaitlyn and Britt, who we believe now are the final two in consideration. We really liked Carly Waddell, but we feel like the show, like Chris Soules, just doesn’t seem to be giving her enough attention for the gig. Maybe she’ll land “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Kaitlyn – Funny, outgoing, and game for almost anything. The question here is whether or not she would be open enough to share her feelings throughout the season.

Britt – Also outgoing, and seems definitely willing to share her heart on TV. You can sit here and question whether or not she wants the job for fame, but who says she can’t want that and love at the same time? You’d be crazy to think that other people with this gig wanted love and no essence of exposure in the public eye.

Right now, we’re saying that Britt has it, but anything can happen given that the season’s not open!
