‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: ‘The Major’ to continue Harbormaster story

While the case of the Harbormaster did not necessarily receive extensive movement forward on “The Blacklist” this week, know that the show is not going to stall on this murder investigation at all. It will be an enormous part of the story Thursday night, and going into the March 12 episode “The Major,” it seems like Liz Keen may actually need some more outside help in order to ensure she is protected.

NBC released the official synopsis for the episode this week, and you can check that out below; with that being said, we would caution you to be careful when reading this that Tom Keen could be involved still. NBC may just be acting very protective about his storyline out of a potential risk of spoiling something:

“When Agent Keen (Megan Boone) is questioned in court as a suspect in the murder of the DC Harbormaster, her unusual relationship with Red (James Spader) and their task force falls under scrutiny. Meanwhile, Red enlists Cooper (Harry Lennix) and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) to locate “The Major,” a dangerous former associate who is key in keeping Liz out of prison.”

First of all, we have to say that we’re rather thrilled to see that Cooper is doing okay, and hopefully there is no imminent danger for him. With that being said, can we have some better nicknames for the Blacklisters on the show? We like the show the more that it takes on a sort of superhero persona, where the villains have names that we will remember for a long time. When we hear “The Major,” the first thought that enters our brain is “Fawlty Towers.”
