‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 spoilers: Severide tries to help out a friend

Chicago Fire -Lt. Severide has been known to have a good heart on “Chicago Fire,” even if there are plenty of examples of time in which some other attributes of his personality have gotten in the way of showing it. (Take, for example, the aftermath of Shay’s death.) Moving forward, though, it appears more and more that Taylor Kinney’s character is going to continue to be on the up and up, even to the point where he wants to help out others that he’s been around for much of his life.

This is going to lead to the introduction of Scott Rice during “Forgive You Anything,” the upcoming March 10 episode of the show. This is the episode that will introduce guest star Warren Christie, who could actually become a larger part of the show depending on how the character is perceived. Take a look now at the official synopsis for this installment:

“Lt. Severide (Taylor Kinney) lobbies Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) for a favor for Scott Rice (guest star Warren Christie), an old friend needing a second chance with the CFD, but Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Otis (Yuri Sardarov) have their doubts. Elsewhere, Mills (Charlie Barnett) works to regain his active squad status while Brett (Kara Killmer) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) decide they need a big night out.”

Hopefully, the Brett and Dawson story is our source of fun for this episode, mostly because we’ve seen these two go through enough hard times already this season. Dawson and Casey are no more for the time being, and to go along with that, Brett’s had her life in danger aplenty.
