‘Suits’ season 4 spoilers: Cahill returns, Mike and Rachel’s story in finale
As excellent as “Suits” season 4 has been, the unfortunate part of it is confronting the reality that it is over almost as soon as the second half begins. We’re already a good two-thirds of the way through the final six episodes, and everything will conclude until summer on March 4 with “Not Just a Pretty Face,” an episode that looks to give you closure to both the first and second halves of this season. How else do you explain the return of Sean Cahill, Eric Woodall, and Charles Forstman to the show? These are people we thought we had seen the last of.
USA released the full synopsis this week to this episode, and there is more that is happening beyond just these men returning. For example, Rachel has to come to terms with the fact that despite her hard work, she’s probably never going to be seen by Harvey in the same way that he sees Mike:
“When SEC investigator Sean Cahill fails to link his corrupt boss Eric Woodall and corporate raider Charles Forstman, Harvey must revisit his own uncomfortable past in order to find a way to put them away for good. Mike and Rachel confront the fact that, while Rachel is Harvey’s associate, Mike is his guy. And Donna helps Louis with an unexpected crisis.”
For the most part, these two characters have done a remarkable job of putting it behind them that Mike isn’t technically a lawyer, but there have to be triggers here and there that make this bothersome for Meghan Markle’s character. This may be one of those said triggers, given how hard she’s worked to get even a modicum of respect from Harvey.
