‘True Detective’ season 2: What’s Colin Farrell’s new look?
The second season of “True Detective” has been filming for many months, and if you are a serious actor, then you probably know a thing or two already about how you often need to disappear into roles and settings. This show really makes that happen more than any other, given the goal here is not appear like you are super-good-looking, glamorous people.
Apparently, one of the ways that Colin Farrell has been preparing for his leading role on the HBO drama is simple: Growing a mustache. We don’t report on set images as a general rule, but since the actor himself commented on it to the Los Angeles Times in a new interview, it seems more or less like fair game at this point. He said in the same interview that he was “tied to it” in a way, but that is probably how most actors feel whenever they are in the middle of doing a role.
Given that production on season 2 did not begin until near the end of last year, we still have a ways to go here until this journey is over. Luckily, we do still know that there will be plenty of things to look forward to. After all, we would be shocked if there was not a teaser trailer of some sort that aired during the upcoming fourth season of “Game of Thrones.” We’ll just have to see what the good folks at HBO are willing to do.
Of course, we’ll have further updates when it comes to this show soon enough.
