‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 16 review: Did Voight learn about Halstead, Lindsay romance?

Chicago PD -Last week on “Chicago PD” the whole episode pretty much revolved around Burgess and her regrets over not taking the promotion as well as her feeling like she was in a rut. We barely saw anyone else on the team outside of them tasering each other in the office which was by far the funniest thing we’ve seen on the show.

Halstead and Lindsay still haven’t told Voight that they are romantically involved and now Voight is acting really weird… like he knows something, but does he really know anything or are they just feeling guilty for hiding their relationship from him?

Halstead tells Lindsay that he knows Voight knows about them and he wants to go and come clean about it like he suggested months ago, and Lindsay says that it’s not that easy for her. Halstead instead suggests that they stop seeing each other and just remain friends instead of telling Voight and she agrees.

Even though she feels it’s right to break things off with Halstead, she is still thinking about him. Did she make the right decision? We know that Voight can be intimidating and that he hates romances at work, but if he was willing to over look it with Burgess then he would get over it with Lindsay – no matter what her relationship with Voight is.

It was tough to say good bye to the Halstead/Lindsay romance tonight and we hope that it will come up again at some point since they have such great chemistry! Episode grade: B-
