‘Suits’ season 4, episode 14 review: Did Louis Litt spill the truth to Jeff Malone?
With each passing episode of “Suits,” we are starting to wonder more and more if there is anyone at this point that doesn’t know the truth about who Mike Ross really is.
The first reveal that we had in here was to Jessica, as she learned from Harvey that he told Scottie about Mike not being a legitimate attorney. Why was she so curious? It was simply a matter of assessing her own feelings for Jeff Malone. After he made it clear that he wanted to take her to Paris, and that he loved her, she realized that she did not want to lie to him anymore. If she was going to be with him completely, she wanted it to be a relationship worth having. As per usual on this show, though, nothing ever comes that easy, and more often than not, it is incredible complicated.
As a favor to Jessica, Jeff agreed to go out drinking with Louis Litt. Did he spill the beans? Not entirely, but enough to make it clear that the “indiscretion” was two years ago. In a case of bad timing, he realized that he didn’t want to be with her before she was able to tell him the truth. He may not know everything, but he knows enough … and we’re genuinely sad over it.
As for the Mike Ross storyline, what we saw from this tonight was that despite he and Harvey’s best efforts, they find themselves seemingly outsmarted yet again by the likes of Evan Smith. She lured Harvey in, and then admitted to him that there would be no settlement at all. Instead, she had enough information on Donna’s “superhero” actions saving the day … and not all of them are fully legal. A chilling end to a great episode all around, even if it was a rare occasion when we enjoyed things with Jessica and Louis more than Mike and Harvey. Louis getting upset over phone messages? Genius. Grade: A-.

Hopefully Donna gets what she deserves. She’s been playing fast and loose with her job for far too long. So Mike was gon have to drop a case, SO WHAT! Unless she had a family member who was on that train she had no reason to go that far just to help mike. Donna is a secretary and she needs to start acting like one.
