NBC’s ‘The Voice’ star Matt McAndrew gets his ‘Check Matt’ from Adam Levine

Matt -We’re always a fan of any hashtag that has “Matt” in the name (#CarterMatt), so it’s been pretty easy to watch Matt McAndrew and his #CheckMatt campaign. The recent star of “The Voice” has made it into a goal to get himself a record deal, and he even had a box on his arm that he was waiting to get checked in once he made this dream a reality.

Since McAndrew (who posted some big iTunes numbers during the season, especially for his single “Wasted Love”) managed to recently sign a record deal with Republic Records, he can finally get that check filled in! This is what the video below is all about! In this clip, you get a chance to see Matt pay a quick visit to his coach Adam Levine at seemingly the show’s studio, where Adam drew the check mark on his arm. From there, he went over to a tattoo shop in order to make it permanent. Clearly, Matt’s a fan of tattoos; it does not take a whole lot of time in order to figure that out.

Overall, this is a pretty cool idea for Matt, since we haven’t heard that much about people choosing to turn body art into a motivational tool. He managed to pull that off, and now we just have to see what lies in store for him in the future.

Hopefully, “The Voice” will be bringing Matt back for a performance at some point during the near future. If there was one big criticism that we had of the live shows last season, it was the lack of alumni representation. Away from that, we feel like we had one of the strongest lineups we’ve had since the beginning of the series.
