‘Shameless’ season 5, episode 6 preview: The search for Ian; Fiona’s secret

Clearly, there are a variety of different things taking place on Sunday night’s new episode of “Shameless,” and one of them is getting the opportunity to learn a thing or two more about what happened to Ian.

We wonder if the entire Gallagher clan is going to be as distracted finding him as they are in the new sneak peek below for Sunday night’s new episode. If they are, then the one thing that the poor guy is definitely is screwed. How difficult is it to find someone when you’re not putting all of your effort into it?

Just in case you are wondering why they are so darn distracted, we feel like seeing Jimmy / Steve again is throwing a wrench into things. Also, there is the simple fact of learning that Fiona and Gus are married. The reaction to this is mostly negative, and we feel for the most part, that is because she has not really talked about him. From their vantage point, if he is really this great guy that Fiona is so proud of, why keep the marriage a secret?

Well, the simple answer to this particular question is just that she wanted to keep the marriage at least precious for a little while … and with this family, can you really be surprised? There’s also a chance that Jimmy is going to find a way to mess that up, since she has not been able to escape her feelings for him yet.
