‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: Sophie Turner teases ‘massive moments’ ahead

If you are trying to find out specific moments on the upcoming fifth season of “Game of Thrones,” you may be searching for a rather long time. Instead, just about any and all commentary you can expect from the show’s stars is probably going to have to do with some general thoughts on what lies ahead.

With that in mind, we come to you with some new quotes courtesy of Sophie Turner. Like many other cast members of the series, she is in the process of promoting the upcoming season 4 boxed set. So speaking to the Huffington Post about both this and the future, she gave us what we like to think of as a most excellent preview:

“There’s some massive moments, perhaps even more shocking than the Red Wedding type of thing. There’s like a lot going on this season … There’s also, you know, a lot of blood, a lot of death. And a lot of people kind of come far. And there are a few familiar faces around as well.”

As sad as it may make us, we have to almost expect to see a whole lot of death at this point. While we’ve lost many, this is still a series with a massive cast, and we still are set to meet many more people. We have yet to spend time with the Sand Snakes, and there may be other interesting new faces in King’s Landing now that the city is in such a massive state of disarray with Tywin Lannister gone:
