‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Why does Britt Nilsson confront Chris Soules?

Earlier this season, we had a little bit of sympathy for Britt Nilsson when she confronted Chris Soules on “The Bachelor.” She was not on the camping group date where Kaitlyn got the rose, and after hearing about everything that happened, coupled with this being the second rose in a row for Kaitlyn, the secondhand recounting of it probably made it seem even worse. Everyone gets secure on this show, so telling Chris about these feelings is pretty understandable.

However, the latest sneak peek video makes it a little bit harder to side with Britt, or think that she is a big contender to be “The Bachelorette” after the fact. Basically, she gets really upset at him for giving Kaitlyn another group date rose, which secures her spot in the final four. She feels like Chris is almost goading her into getting her to leave the competition on her own accord.

The way that Britt handles this is pretty awful, bringing it up right in front of Kaitlyn and with the other women all sitting there. Chris is flabbergasted, and ultimately just gets up and leaves, telling her that he doesn’t really know how to respond. After he leaves, Kaitlyn tells Britt that she made her feel pretty bad about getting the rose, even though she did not even remotely do anything wrong.

Ultimately, we feel like Britt is probably blowing her chances at making it into the hometown dates, given that we know that there are some other strong contenders still left in the show. More than that, she doesn’t seem to really understand the rules of the show. There is zero way that producers would want Chris to give a rose to her every date; that is not good television!
