Teresa Giudice imprisonment will not stop ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’
While you most likely knew already that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” was going to be coming back on the air in the future, there are still questions when it comes to one particular topic: What is going to happen with Teresa Giudice? She is still in prison serving a sentence that she began this month, and depending on the prison’s own decision-making, she could be in there for the rest of the year. You cannot film with her behind bars, so this means that she will seemingly be out of the show.
So will the series pause without one of its biggest stars? It definitely does not seem like it, based on what Bravo guru Andy Cohen had to say in a new interview with Us Weekly this week:
“I can’t imagine not filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey … It’s a big franchise for Bravo, and I think whatever we do, we’re going to do it the right way, so we’re still figuring that out right now.”
Our feeling is that aside from whatever leftover footage we have from Teresa before entering prison, we are also going to receive updates from her from some other source. Maybe it will be from Melissa Gorga, Dina Manzo, or maybe someone from her immediate family will make an appearance at some point. Bravo has already said that they have no plans to fire Giudice despite her sentencing, so we’re sure that as long as she wants to return after being behind bars, she’ll be invited back.
What do you think: Is there a show without Teresa, and how should she be represented during her absence? Let us know right now with a comment.
