‘Empire’ spoilers: Naomi Campbell guest stars in ‘The Lyon’s Roar’

You may know already that Cookie and Anika are going to show down on next week’s new episode of “Empire,” but why don’t we take a moment to look a little further down the road today? We’re talking about “The Lyon’s Roar” here, which is the eighth episode of the show airing on Wednesday, February 25. This is an episode that is going to be about legacy, and also a chance to feature yet another guest star in Naomi Campbell. How in the world does this show manage to snag so many great guest stars? The ratings are probably part of that, but we figure that many of these castings happened even before the show became some enormous success story.

Could Jamal’s news involve him becoming a potential father? That is something to consider, given the cliffhanger from last night’s new episode. What the show still needs to tell us, though, is if the child’s paternity is what it is said to be. There are always so many twists and turns with this sort of show; the issue with “Empire” is that we are still very early in the series’ run, and we still have a long ways to go before we know just what sort of show this is going to be.
