‘Switched at Birth’ season 4, episode 7 preview: Bay and Emmett deal with the aftermath

Switched at Birth -“Fog and Storm and Rain” is going to be the title for the next new episode of “Switched at Birth” on ABC Family, and based on every indication that we are seeing right now, this is still going to be yet another emotional chapter in what is a difficult story. While Tank’s immediate future seems to be taken care of now following what happened between him and Bay, there is still another pressing issue that she has to deal with: Emmett. Is he going to be mature enough to handle what happened, and that she was not in a position to give consent? It is easy to forget how young some of these characters are, and in the promo below, it doesn’t seem that he is handling it well.

Is it possible that he will come around and start to process the information better? Certainly so, but it will take a little bit of time to know. For now, our advice is to stay hopeful that he will process the news and be there for her, and you can check out the synopsis below for some additional scoop on this episode:

“As a severe storm warning forces everyone to hunker down indoors, Kathryn’s mom Bonnie (guest star Meredith Baxter, ‘Family Ties’) comes for a visit, bringing her friend Lucille (guest star Joanna Cassidy, ‘Six Feet Under’), and delivers some unexpected news to Kathryn. Bay finds that Emmett is avoiding any discussion of what triggered the UMKC investigation. Meanwhile, Daphne goes to see Regina at the coffee house where several shocks await her, including one that will put her freedom at risk.”
