‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 11 preview: how much danger is Reddington in?
Stop us when this sounds familiar: On Thursday night’s “The Blacklist,” we are going to see Raymond Reddington in trouble. Just how much trouble does this mean? Ultimately, let’s just say that you should be more than just a little bit surprised with how the story wraps up.
Before that, a quick recap from last week: Liz Keen started to piece together at least a few memories of her past, including the location of the Fulcrum and why it was so important. With Luther Braxton no longer serving as the primary threat, though, she is probably going to have at least some other priorities for a little while. This means getting back to the job of taking out nefarious criminals.
The new promo below is really invested in making you think that one of the most dangerous adversaries for Red to date is coming up; he’s certainly terrifying in terms of appearance, but that does only mean so much when the dust settles. He’s got to bring something else! Part of the fun of this particular episode will be seeing how these pieces come together, and if the show can establish a little bit of a rhythm now that they are back to airing an episode a week in a more traditional format.
Ultimately, we do feel like this could make for one of the better episodes of the season, though our expectations are a little higher now than they were during a so-so fall stretch of episodes. There were a lot of problems lingering there.
