‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 16 preview: Sam is shot; Kensi, Deeks’ first fight
First things first, let’s start this “NCIS: Los Angeles” article off with the bad news: It appears as though there is no new episode airing on CBS next week. Certainly, it’s understandable to feel bummed out about that, as the network is opting for a night of music instead. Given the ratings for the Grammys, we’re sure that they will do their part to help spread that organization’s message to the ends of the earth.
Luckily, your friends from this particular show will return come the following week, and with an episode entitled “Expiration Date” that looks to be bringing quite a bit to the table. Expect to see some conflict from Kensi and Deeks for one (their first real conflict since their relationship began), and in addition to that, you will also have a chance to see Sam in an unfortunately dangerous position.
Want to know more? You can get at least a little more news when it comes to that courtesy of the attached synopsis:
“When Callen and Sam are tasked with apprehending a spy contracted by the CIA, Sam is shot and the team enlists the help of Thapa, the elite Nepali soldier from their past, to help to find the shooter. Also, Kensi and Deeks have their first official argument.”
The funny thing here is that if this was almost any other episode that did not feature a “Densi” argument, Sam being shot would probably be the main event. However, this argument, coupled with the news that he will most likely emerge okay in the end, changes that.
