‘Scorpion’ season 1, episode 11 review: Who ends up in the hospital?

Sylvester has been one of our favorite characters on “Scorpion” pretty much right from the start. His paralyzing fear over everything is something that many people can relate to on some level (maybe not his level, but some level none the less). The one thing we have worried about when it comes to this character is that his fear was going to put someone in the group in danger if he wasn’t able to push through with his part of the task and it looks like tonight this is going to be something that the team faces.

First off let’s look at the case of the week: Because of Sylvester’s fears he isn’t able to help the team when they needed him most, and it definitely put them in danger with one of them going to the hospital. Sylvester ends up triggering an explosive device and gives himself a one way ticket to emergency. This incident really shakes up the team since until this point no one has gotten hurt on any kind of serious level, but is this going to be enough to push Sylvester to get over some of his fears or will this make him even more fearful then he was before?

We also saw Drew pushing to spend more time with Ralph, but also hoping to get closer with Paige. Is she really entertaining getting back with him or is she invested in team “Scorpion” now? We would obviously like to see her stay since the team has been able to make a connection with Ralph that he hasn’t been making with anyone else including Drew. Episode grade: C+
