‘The Flash’ episode 13 preview: Show boss on ‘The Nuclear Man,’ Firestorm plot
Tomorrow night on The CW, we are going to have arguably the most important episode for all characters on “The Flash” so far in “The Nuclear Man.” While fighting the Reverse Flash is obviously something that Barry Allen feels a great deal of responsibility to do, Firestorm could end up destroying and harming everyone in Central City. As the sneak peek below suggests, there is an off chance that this character ends up going nuclear, and creating chaos for almost everyone that he comes into contact with. This ultimately spells one thing above all else for our characters: Trouble. Enormous trouble.
In the sneak peek below, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg lays out the stakes for trying to stop Firestorm, and also explains that the team at STAR Labs can no longer be content with just allowing this man to roam the streets free.
This is also the episode that will feature Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, who dominates much of the mental consciousness of Ronnie Raymond’s body. This is why he acted in part so unusual to Caitlin and the rest of the team when he first saw them.
This episode will hopefully answer many of your questions, but we have a hard time seeing it have a happy ending. You have to remember here that Caitlin, if the show follows the comics, is eventually going to meet a not-so-happy end. We just have to see what is going to get us to that point and if the show is going to stay true to the comics or move Caitlin in a different direction.
