‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: See Becca Tilley, Chris Soules on one-on-one date

Tonight, “The Bachelor” is in South Dakota of all places, and with all due respect to the state, this is not exactly a place we picture as a romantic getaway. then again, maybe we are wrong. This place will feature at least one individual date, and it will be between Chris Soules and someone who has yet to have one this season: Becca Tilley.

Should she be feeling fairly optimistic about this going into the date? Probably so, given that there has been zero sign that he is anything other than interested in her. We also feel like this date could be for Chris precisely what he needs at this particular time. If you look and think back at most of what he has been up to as of late, the majority of it has been dealing with some drama. There was the return of Jordan to New Mexico, and to follow that up, we had the whole situation with Kelsey and the meltdown that happened.

Becca, meanwhile, seems to be extremely chill and laid-back. Being on this date will give her a chance to bond further with him, and give him a chance to relax. Given that there is a two-on-one later in the episode, we’d be shocked to see her get sent home. If anything, this could be the sort of thing that propels her to the front of the pack. While the winner of the season typically receives a solo date a little before this point in the season, remember that Catherine during Sean Lowe’s season also did not have one until several weeks in.
