ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Annie Wersching on Dr. Kelly Nieman’s return, two-parter

Tonight, “Castle” fans, is definitely going to be a great moment. After all, you have the return of the 3XK storyline after a good deal of waiting, and to go along with that, the return of the Dr. Kelly Nieman character. We certainly know already that she is a dangerous woman, and also a sneaky one. She managed to take off during her last appearance in “Disciple,” right when Castle and Beckett were starting to get on her trail.

So how is she coming back onto the series? Let’s just say that it may have something to do with her not being able to get away from being a plastic surgeon completely. Also, her ties to 3XK a.k.a. Jerry Tyson continually keep her high on the suspect list. Speaking about this storyline in a new chat with TVLine, Annie Wersching had the following to say about how she ends up being a part of this world:

“There is this strange coincidence that Beckett and the gang stumble upon someone else that has Dr. Nieman as their surgeon — but of course in the world of Dr. Nieman and 3XK, nothing is a coincidence … No, with them every single thing is planned out, and they have some specific, painstaking plans for Beckett and Castle in particular.”

Nieman and Tyson should be in two separate episodes, and Wersching teases that there is going to be a great cliffhanger at the end of the first one to lead into the hopefully-exciting conclusion. It’s possible that by the end of this, the story of these characters could be complete. Then again, we have definitely been shocked by this show before now.
