‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: When will tonight’s new episode with Ron Perlman air?
Tonight, “The Walking Dead” is of course going to be back on AMC with its first of eight new episodes … but it is not going to be alone! The show will once again be accompanied by its longtime “Talking Dead” companion, even if it is airing at a slightly different time than usual.
Just in case you missed some of our previous reports, here’s a humble reminder: Tonight’s show with Ron Perlman, executive producer / director / master of special effects Greg Nicotero, and a surprise guest cast member will start at 11:15 p.m. Eastern time. This move is being done in order to accommodate the premiere of “Better Call Saul,” and this is the only time all season this will happen. Don’t worry: This is not going to turn into the great “Low Winter Sun” debacle again. “Better Call Saul” will air on Monday nights the rest of the season, and the Chris Hardwick-hosted show will move back into immediately airing after new “Walking Dead” episodes.
We find “Talking Dead” as a whole to be fascinating, remarkable TV: It is something that they manage to make into a real entertainment experience, even if you are just watching people sitting around and discussing something that they have already seen. We give much of the credit to Hardwick, because after seeing aftershows that other networks put out there for some of their programming, it was a nice reminder that this is a far more difficult job than any of us probably give Chris credit for. You have to facilitate the conversation, share insightful commentary, and also be engaging at the same time. There are few jobs out there that are more difficult.
The rest of the season, look out for these articles the morning of the show, where we will bring you the list of guests and much more.
