‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 15 video: Jesus vs. tattoo removal
We feel for Jesus on “The Fosters” in a way. He was in love when he got that tattoo of Hayley, and basically, he has therefore fallen victim to the same exact fate as thousands of men before him: Being extremely naive in thinking that he and Hayley were going to be sticking together forever. It’s easy to call him stupid, but we’d say that reckless is a more fitting adjective. He just didn’t think what the consequences would be if they broke up. Tattoos are forever while relationships often break down.
Well, on Monday night’s new episode these said consequences are going to come roaring back and smacking him in the face. He decides that he wants to get the tattoo removed, and this means visiting a tattoo removal specialist and learning what the treatment for this is going to be. Everything that the man says here is extremely accurate: However painful it is to get a tattoo, it is far worse to get it removed. Not only that, but you have to go for multiple sittings, and over a long period of time. It’s certainly not as easy as it is to get the tattoo.
Jesus at the last second suggests to Lena in the sneak peek below that he could just get a cover-up tattoo, but she makes a wise point here: Covering up one mistake with another is not really a good thing (although if you get a good tattoo artist a cover up can look pretty darn good). Plus, if he was to add another tattoo, it would be a billion times worse for him to get it covered up.
