‘Bates Motel’ season 3 spoilers: Norman Bates and shifting attention
How about this for some interesting news on “Bates Motel” season 3? There may be a lucky lady or two coming in the life of Norman Bates soon … and by “lucky,” we mean “terribly unlucky and they really should run the other way if they know what is good for them.”
According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, Freddie Highmore’s character on the third season will change things up from his usual pattern of just creeping all over his mother, and cast his focus more on two different women. Unfortunately, how he handles himself around each one of them will be surprising, and each interaction will probably be different and unique. Ultimately, let us just say that you’ve been warned. We feel really terrible for one of these women.
In addition to that, this same report also mentions that we are going to see Norma (Vera Farmiga) at least try to put up some sort of line of defense between her and her son. We give her a good bit of credit for the effort, but that is probably not going to work anywhere near as well as she wants for it to. Nothing on this show ever seems to go quite according to plan, especially for Norma.
Ultimately, many of the biggest surprises are going to be worth waiting for. The third season of the show kicks off on March 9 on A&E, and judging from the poster attached to this article, one of the biggest teases that we can offer for you is that this is the season where Norman really starts to become unhinged, even more so than anything that we have seen from him so far (and we have definitely seem some pretty crazy stuff).
