‘Arrow’ season 3 video: A look inside a showdown
The battle between Oliver Queen and Ted Grant on “Arrow” a little earlier this season proved to be one of the more entertaining sequences, mostly because of the moment with the arrow and the boxing glove. Was this even remotely realistic? Not really, but this is also one of those very few moments where to be frank, we don’t care. Sometimes, we are fine to stretch the realm of what is believable when it means that we have a chance to have a little bit of fun in the process.
Now, you have a chance to find out a thing or two more about the making of this particular part of the show courtesy of the latest stunt video below. This video once again features the excellent James Bamford taking you through all of the individual steps that go into making something like this particular battle into a great TV moment. It’s complicated as always, but worth the effort clearly based on how it ended up in the show.
Perhaps what is the most notable about these videos is their mere existence. Think about how few other shows give you something like this? It just goes to show you even further the level of passion and excitement that the people behind the scenes have for “Arrow,” and also their desire to do just about anything and everything that they can in order to make it memorable for the fans.
This is an emotional time for us writing this, given how we are still somewhat in the dark about what is coming up next for Ted Grant. The character was badly injured at the end of “Uprising”, which is still surprising to us since this character in the comics trained people like Batman.
