‘Gotham’ spoilers: The Red Hood gang; Barbara Keen’s next story
It’s funny in a way that an upcoming episode of “Gotham” is going to feature in many ways a bond forging between the characters of Barbara Keen and Selina Kyle. After all, to this point we’ve felt as though these are the two characters on the show who really have not had enough to do.
Therefore, why not give them something to do together? This seems like part of the thought process at least going into “Red Hood,” the February 23 installment of the show. While there may not necessarily be an extensive amount of information out there about this episode right now, the synopsis below does pass along a few curious clues:
“Following several bank robberies, Gordon and Bullock investigate the Red Hood gang. Selina Kyle continues to bond with Barbara, and Fish Mooney tries to reclaim her position in the underworld.”
What is very nice about the implementation of the Red Hood Gang is that they actually do have a recent history in Batman comics, and not only that, but in these comics it is inferred that they existed long before Batman did. Therefore, it is the implementation of something that actually would be in Gotham City in the comic books at around this time! That has occasionally been rare during this season.
Ultimately, we know that Bullock and Gordon have a few other troubles to deal with before they can even start to deal with this gang. After all, remember here that they also have to fend off the likes of a Scarecrow descendant come Monday.
