‘Silicon Valley’ season 2 spoilers: The first promo has arrived!

Come Sunday, April 12, “Silicon Valley” is going to be coming back on HBO with new episodes, but you don’t have to wait to watch the first promo for the show!

HBO has just unveiled the clip over on their official YouTube channel (with a warning for language), and while we would not say that it is a traditional trailer by any means, it’s a reminder of the tone of the show, and some of the hard work that these people are putting into their Pied Piper compression service. They are working in a tiny house still, and while they are starting to make some forward movement with the company, they are hardly billionaires a la Mark Zuckerberg just yet.

While the tone of this show definitely has a specific Mike Judge feel to it, there is a significant part of us curious to see what happens if the series does eventually decide that it wants to actually give some of these people real success. Do we suddenly see the show transform into something that is a little bit more like “Entourage”? That would be interesting to see how these characters handle real money … especially Erlich, who already acts a little like a diva as it is.

Ultimately, let’s just how that more and more people check out this show when it premieres. We still contend that it may be the most underrated comedy on TV.
