‘Blue Bloods’ season 5, episode 15 preview: ‘Power Players’ and a big Tom Selleck story
While we typically enjoy seeing what Danny and Erin are up to on “Blue Bloods,” we still feel very much that it is Frank that really steers this ship. Maybe we just say this as a supporter of Tom Selleck; also, we feel like a major part of it is mostly because there are not many other shows out there that really choose to show the procedure and the politics that come with being a cop. Instead, they are much more interested in trying to hype up as much as possible anything and everything when it comes to big cases.
So moving into next week’s new episode “Power Players,” what we are going to see from Frank is a struggle to get what he believes the NYPD needs from the city, and that is proper benefits for his hard work. Unfortunately, that is not something that could come to him easily. Take a look at the synopsis below for some base details on what to expect:
“When a star witness in a double murder case drops out, Erin is tasked with bringing a protected mob informant back to New York for a case and keeping him safe, with help from Danny and Baez. Also, Frank enters into tense negotiations with Mayor Poole about police officer benefits, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Feb. 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Dan Hedaya guest stars as the mob informant.”
The photo below features Danny and Baez dealing with their mob story, which may be the flashier part of the story. Hopefully, it will be strong enough that we don’t miss Frank when he is off the screen.
