‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Could Ray Palmer, Felicity Smoak clash over Atom suit?
Earlier this week, we had our first glorious look at Ray Palmer in his full suit as The Atom. Exciting, no? We love that he is bold enough to show his face, and we also love the potential that is there.
So when are we actually going to see Brandon Routh’s character actually don the famous costume? Think Wednesday, February 25! During this “Arrow” episode (entitled “Nanda Parbat”), Ray is going to get all of the pieces together so that he can go out there and start kicking butt / taking names. However, there may be some opposition to the way in which he does that … from Felicity. Is this proof that she and Ray are actually getting together by the time this episode airs? Not exactly, but in the wake of what her and Oliver are fighting about, she may be ready to move on.
Away from romance, this episode promises that we are also going to be seeing more of Ra’s al Ghul, and it may lead to Oliver actually going all the way out to the famous locale in the title to save him. Take a look at the synopsis:
“Malcolm (John Barrowman) is captured by Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) and taken to Nanda Parbat. Because of his love for Thea (Willa Holland), Oliver (Stephen Amell) considers saving Merlyn. Ray (Brandon Routh) is obsessed with finishing his Atom suit so he can save the city but Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) fears he is heading down the same path as Oliver (Stephen Amell) and tries to pull him out of the lab.”
Do you think that we could be seeing Felicity and Ray actually getting together, now that she is seemingly moving on from Oliver?
