‘Celebrity Big Brother’ finale: Is Katie Price or Katie Hopkins the winner?

Tonight, “Celebrity Big Brother” capped off a crazy season, and interestingly enough, it turned out to be a battle of two women named Katie for the grand prize in between Katie Hopkins and Katie Price. Both also interestingly had connections to the British tabloid The Sun, and were competing to take the title that was held by Gary Busey of all people after the fall season. (We were not entirely sure we would live to see the day where Busey won any reality show).

Personally, we’re just glad to see that Perez Hilton didn’t walk away with this, given some of his comments both during and after the show. This is a completely ridiculous program, but we still prefer winners who have a little bit of likability.

The funny thing here is that neither Katie has won the favor of everyone in Britain by any means. Price, for example was accused of being boring; meanwhile, Hopkins was found by many to be far too harsh and even a bully to some.

Ultimately, the winner this season was … Katie Price! We’re somewhat shocked by this win, given that she did not really do too much throughout the season. Still, it feels like she has a very dedicated fan following, and there were a variety of people who all wanted to see her take this one home after everything that she has been through over the years. She’s also a staple of celebrity reality shows, so that may have helped her profile here to a certain extent.
