The BBC right now is certainly doing a good job when it comes to making you wait. After all, how else can you really justify the fact that there is not a new episode of “The Musketeers” on the network tonight? It’s a strange move, given that weeks of no new episode is not something that we are particularly familiar with when it comes to British television. Then again, we are writing here as more of an outsider. (It seems like rugby and football are the reason why.)
If nothing else, though, we can at least give you today some of the first details regarding next week’s new episode entitled “The Return,” which including learning a thing or two more about the group searching for Athos, a fantastic battle, and Athos ultimately having to take a hard look back at who he has been in life. Take a peek at the synopsis below:
“When Athos is kidnapped and taken back to his estate of Pinon, the Musketeers go in search of him. They find themselves in the middle of a battle against Baron Renard, who is shocked by Athos’ decision toreject his nobility and is determined to seize the land for himself.
“As the Musketeers train the people of Pinon in combat and defend them against multiple attacks, Athos is forced to confront his past when he encounters an old friend whose life was ruined by his actions years ago.”
Sound exciting to anyone else? It definitely at least does to us, and we are curious to see where this story goes. Also, we are glad with the news that the show has been renewed for a third season, so we know that there is so much more coming.
