‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 video: Watch Andrew Lincoln, Lauren Cohan, more in Hangout form!

Are you really excited to see the season 5 premiere of “The Walking Dead,” and you also have an hour of free time? If you answer both of these questions with “yes,” then you are probably going to rather love the gift being handed down to you below via AMC.

This video is a lengthy conversation being done in Google Hangout form, hosted by Dalton Ross of Entertainment Weekly. Meanwhile, some of the guests include Andrew Lincoln and showrunner Scott M. Gimple (who were there in person), and then also Michael Cudlitz and Lauren Cohan coming in from Los Angeles. The video runs for around an hour, and while there are some technical issues in here, it for the most part is still very fun to watch.

We have to say that above all else, what still gets us about this video is the sight of Lincoln sans beard. This has been a look that he’s kept up for some time now, and that has to be rather nice for him! We wonder if this was a product of him maybe filming a flashback scene late in the season that allowed him to shave, and he just hasn’t been forced to grow it out again yet. Based on Cudlitz and his own appearance here (which we interpret as a way to get out sporting that mustache all of the time), clearly not every other male character on the show had the same luxury.
