‘Reign’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Mary’s past with Conde; the King Henry mystery
Tonight, the latest episode of “Reign” season 2 came on the air, and it contained just about as many different twists and turns as you would probably expect. There are a variety of different crazy elements at the center of “The End of Mourning,” and one of the most interesting threads will involve both Mary and Francis being forced to confront some things from their past. We’re talking in one way about Conde, and in another way in trying to figure out what happened with King Henry and the poisoning.
Before we do a whole lot else right now, take a look at the official synopsis courtesy of The CW:
“As Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Francis (Toby Regbo) investigate who was behind the poisoning of King Henry (Alan Van Sprang), they unearth secrets of the past which force Mary to confront her feelings for Condé (Sean Teale) as she attempts to move forward. Catherine (Megan Follows) finds herself in the middle of a romantic triangle when the Duke of Guise (guest star Gil Darnell) returns, which forces Narcisse (Craig Parker) to commit a hideous act out of desperation. Meanwhile, Greer (Celina Sinden) finds herself in a situation she never fathomed in order to survive.”
The promo below spells out the issue pretty clearly when it comes to Conde right now: Is he is a guilty man, will Francis have him beheaded? That’s the implication, and this could be a race against time in order to figure out just what is really going on here.
