‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 10 video: What will Liz Keen learn about her father?
As great as “The Blacklist” was on Sunday night, one of the best things about it was ultimately the knowledge that there was something so much greater coming on the other side. Specifically, we are referring here to what Liz Keen could have an opportunity to learn about herself when the show airs a new episode on Thursday.
Hopefully, the exciting conclusion to “Luther Braxton” will be just that, and we at least know that Liz will realize at least one thing: That her father was there the night of the fire. The promo below is further proof of that. We would also argue in the process that this could be evidence that once again, Red is not actually her father. We feel like that is almost too obvious a road for them to go down, and the series remains far more interesting if they steer things in a slightly different direction.
Outside of establishing maybe a few more things about Liz’s past, you should also expect Ron Perlman to be written out of the series … at least for the time being. He’s got a show on Amazon coming in “Hand of God,” and only has so much time to offer.
With that being said, it would be foolish to think that Braxton, unless he is killed, is unable to ever return to the series. We still feel like there is a heck of a lot of potential there.
