‘The Celebrity Apprentice’: Kenya Moore denies ‘phonegate,’ hugs Brandi Glanville

Kenya -Monday night’s new episode of “The Celebrity Apprentice” was definitely crazy, but really in every good way imaginable. We had Vivica A. Fox and Kenya Moore screaming at each other over some supposed tweets that were fired off, and we also had Donald Trump getting completely drunk with power and firing an entire team after they lost their first task in several weeks.

This led to “The Today Show” Monday being more jam-packed than we have ever saw before, and there were a few fun moments in here. For one, Kenya and Brandi Glanville actually smiled and hugged each other! This came after Kenya denied that she was reluctant to do a sit-down interview alongside Brandi in the studio. She also denied once again stealing Vivica’s phone, claiming that it was another “brick” thrown at her and she was confident enough in her abilities not to partake in such tactics. We still have no clue what really happened here and we probably never will unless someone comes forward with the truth.

It’s funny in a way that Ian Ziering and Johnny Damon were both on the show, but this interview was barely about either one of them at all. Johnny was really just there, kind of like he was most of the season. He’s a nice guy, but a quiet one.

Now, we are left with a final three of Geraldo Rivera, Leeza Gibbons, and Vivica A. Fox, though it seems pretty clear to us that the latter will be fired. We talk about this and more in our new CarterMatt “Celebrity Apprentice” podcast.

One thing that really is worth celebrating right now is the news that for this past episode, the show drew what were its highest overall ratings in the past couple of seasons. Great news! We feel like the show’s future is basically solidified right now on NBC, and it’s rather hilarious given that at one point, it felt almost assured that this was just getting burned off of the schedule.
